.....And The Winner Is???

Down to the last wire? Or is it beat? Hmmm......I don't know. What I DO know is that KBPI (106.7), Denver's local metal station, has put on the "Best Band in Denver" contest which started September 17th, 2008 with more than 150 local bands.

On September 22nd, 18 bands with the most online votes were chosen  to perform in six seperate battles at Littleton, Colorado's ECK'S SALOON.

After the ear crackling, head banging, nose bleeding, ankle bitting, blood thirsty brawl, THREE bands came out unscathed. The three TOP bands performed once again at ECK'S SALOON on November 15th, 2008. 

The top three bands are HAVOK, 20XIII (2013), and NO 1 LEFT STANDING (appropriately named I might add!).

Stay tuned on November 21st, 2008 to see WHO is the "BEST BAND IN DENVER"! Then buy your tickets and watch them melt your face off that night as they open for Horse, Snot, Ten Years & MUDVAYNE at The Fillmore!!!
