Hello Friends and Welcome To this Thursday edition of This Day In Rock. tomorrow is Friday and It will be the end of the week an that also means the last school day of this year for the kids in our area. OH NO!!!! I have Christmas parties to go to and little sugared up children to deal with how fun!Lets take that walk down musical memory lane.

Also in 1955 Tennessee Ernie Ford Is at #1 with "Sixteen Ton's"
"Jingle Bell Rock" By Bobby Helm Hits the Charts in 1957.
On this day in 1966 The Four Tops Enter the charts with their soon to be hit "Standing In The Shadows Of Love"
On this day In 1969 TV and Music History were both made when Tiny Tim Married Victoria May Budinger On the "Tonight Show".
In 1986 a benefit in Palo Alto, California inspires the Doobie Brothers to reunite. Things went so well that a year later they would reunite again.
