Hello friends and welcome to this hump-day edition of This Day In Rock.Its another day closer to Christmas and the rush is on for people to fill their gift list and get those gifts under the tree. Lets take that walk down musical memory lane.

On this day in 1966 Jimi Hendrix Releases his first single called "Hey Joe" although it makes the charts in the UK it would go unnoticed in the United States.



In 1974 Mick Taylor Announces that he is Leaving The Rolling Stones.

On this day in 1975 "Saturday Night" earns The Bay City Rollers a Gold Record.



On this day in 1977 The Bee Gees get a gold Record for"How Deep Is Your Love".

So its one of those REALLY slow history days! What can I say except that I will do my best to make up for it tomorrow. That's all for today! Until tomorrow...
