In 1963 "I Want To Hold Your Hand" goes to the #1spot  and stays there for a record making 5 weeks.


On this day in 1967 "Magical Mystery Tour"album by The Beatles gets a gold record for sales.

in 1968  "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" By Marvin Gaye hits the #1 spot and stays there for 5 weeks.


on a television tribute to Frank Sinatra called "Sinatra: 80 Years My Way" Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and Little Richard performed.
