Bruce Springsteen Is Back With A New CD And A Tour!
The Boss is Back and he is not to be missed!
The Boss is back with a brand new album, "Working on a Dream," that hit stores January 27th. Bruce Springsteen has always been the all American rocker. His songs tell stories and paint pictures of an America that is easily recognizable when you drive down any main street in any small town of our great nation. His songs have always been heartfelt and genuine, coming from deep within his soul.
Now on his newest release: Working on a Dream, we find Bruce has an optimistic outlook for the future and is full of love and hope for himself and for the country he is so fond of painting a songbook about.
The CD opens up with "Outlaw Pete" which is reminiscent of an older boss, say from the 1970's. The song is interesting, to say the least about the predestination of evil and if it has a chance at redemption. Bruce comes out in full force on the second track, "My Lucky Day." This title is what the CD embraces: HOPE. Our country is yearning for it and the boss delivers it. "My Lucky Day" has upbeat guitars and keyboards and an outstanding solo from Clarence Clemons. "This Life," "Working On A Dream," "Life Itself," and "The Wrestler" (which is on the movie of the same name) are some of my other favorites.
I have never felt you could go wrong with a Bruce Springsteen record. "Working on a Dream" is no exception. As we all try to continue to work on our own dreams and pull our country up out of this recession I think listening to this CD from the boss is nothing but inspirational.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced a forthcoming world tour.
