Guns N' Roses Is Keeping Their Legal team Busy!
The Guns N' Roses Legal Team is Hard at work in the Los Angeles Courts
From one courtroom to the next Guns N' Roses are in the headlines again for legal matters. The Defendant this time is Kevin Cogill. Mr. Cogill has admitted to leaking tracks form the Album Chinese Democracy and plead guilty last Monday in a LosAngeles courtroom. Cogill faces some pretty stiff penalties including $100,000 fine 5 years probation and one year in prison. He is scheduled to be sentenced on March 3rd.
This just goes to show if you are trying to help you are probably hurting the musician by leaking their music. This hurts sales which in turn hurts the musician. It can also hurt you should the Musician pursue it as shown above. So if you are really a band's biggest fan you will pass the next time someone says "hey I got a hold of your favorite band's new single" You my want to reply with "I Think I'll Pass"
