Fleetwood Mac UNLEASHED...

Fleetwood Mac Announces 2009 Tour

Its been five years since we've seen legendary band Fleetwood Mac take the stage but, they are planning to again in 2009. The UNLEASHED tour is scheduled to take flight on March 1, 2009 in Pittsburgh PA at the Mellon Arena. So far only fifteen dates have been announced but, more are sure to follow for the spring and summer.

I am an avid follower of Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks. They are incredible to behold in concert. I urge you to witness one of the most influenial bands in rock history. Lindsay Buckingham is a genius guitar player who will leave you breathless during  his guitar solo.

I cannot delve into  how much Stevie's voice touches my soul. The woman is truly magical to hear as well as watch when she is on stage. I know she is not always the critics favorite. But, you know what I say to critics? Its the fan's voices that count not yours and Stevie has some loyal fans who have not only supported her in her career with Fleetwood but, shot her to a icon in the female rock world in her solo career.

Mick Fleetwood brings percussion to a whole new level as he leaves his set behind and plays..well himself on stage. The man has an abundance of energy that is simply contagious and some of this younger generation should take lessons from him.

Christine McVie has retired and she will be missed desperately. She has such a light sweet voice. So different then Stevie's and brings such a different element to the songs. You will be missed on this tour Christine.

This tour will be in conjunction with the re-release of Fleetwood Mac's masterpeice "Rumours." It will be a CD/DVD box set and will include previously un-released tracks and video footage from the band's reconding sessions and performances. It is any music lovers must have.
