 Hello friends and welcome to this thrilling (because its almost friday) Thursday edition of this day in rock! I hope you have had an awesome week so far I know i have! The weekend is coming and I believe that great things are about to happen!! Lets take that walk down musical memory lane.
 
On this day in 1970 Diana Ross has her last performance with the supremes. She would go on to have a very successful career as a solo artist.
 
On this Day in 1973 Elvis Presley Performed a concert in Hawaii It was called "Aloha From Hawaii" It was recorded for a future double live album AND was Broadcast on live television to a worldwide audience. At that time such a thing had never been done.

 
In 1975 Three Dog Night Gains some gold with a gold album for "Joy to the World: Their Greatest Hits". It would be their 12th Gold record.
 
A band from Los Angeles called Player had their only #1 hit called "Baby Come Back" on this day in 1978.
