This Day In Rock.
Welcome Friends Its been hot and I hope you are finding a way to stay cool. I prefer the Air conditioned comfort of my home! Unfortunately my kids prefer the beach, which isn't that bad either! Lets take that stroll down musical memory lane.
"Sh-Boom" By The Crew Cuts Starts a seven week run at the top of the charts in 1954.
Fast forward to 1973 Lynyard Skynyrd gets signed to MCA records. The record company holds a press conference to announce the signing and tell people how to correctly pronounce their name!
"We're An American Band" is released. It will go on to the #1 spot for Grand Fuink Railroad.
"Fly Like an Eagle" goes Gold, on its way to Platinum by The Steve Miller Band. The Album produced many hits and would be the bands most popular release.
In 1995 James Al Hendrix Won back the rights to his son's name in a law suit.
Well Friends thats all for today. I hope your day goes well for you until tommorrow....
PEACE!!!!!!!
