Black Robot - debut album
Black Robot - debut album is here and on sale now - its baddass!
Black Robot are here and on this evidence here to stay! Its just pure class and Rock n Roll all the way!
With Jonathan Brightman spear heading with his ideas and badass bass on the album. The core section is finished off with Devon Glenn pounding drums all the way through. This allows Yogi to let his guitar flow with awesome rifts and solos. Then topping it of is Huck Johns with his powerful vocals. Yes three of these guys were the founding members of Buckcherry!
Black Robot has it all, awesome intros, powerful drums and bass, classic guitar rifts, solos and cracking lyrics! From the opening anthem of 'Baddass' with pounding guitar rift and catcher lyics it goes into a awesome cover of 'Cocaine'. Then carries on with a Aerosmith type song in 'Mamma dont cry', followed by a slow song in 'Im in love'. Which has a cracking solo and melody. The album carries rocking and then comes to the self title song 'Black Robot'. This is another rift based song which is quite bluesy. The album carries on with more classic rifts and pure rock! Bass and drums all the way. Then it comes to another slow song in 'Stop the world' another great melody and shows this guys can slow it down when they need to. Then it carries on with more rifts and finishes off with 'Nervous breakdown'. A cracking song to end you wanting more from Black Robot, it has it all in this song.
I’m glad JB and Huck got this together and we get to hear this. It's great having these three BC guys back together… So go get your copy now and its just BADDASS! They will be at the Roxy Theatre on August 8th for the debut concert - it be worth you going!
