BUSY FALL FOR BUCKCHERRY!
ENHANCED VERSION OF BLACK BUTTERFLY, FIRST LIVE ALBUM AND KISS TOUR
Buckcherry are keeping things busy this
fall by releasing an enhanced version of Black Butterfly on September 8,
their first live album, LIVE & LOUD 2009 on September 29 and embarking upon
a North American arena tour with the legendary KISS.
The new edition of BLACK BUTTERFLY, which was made available to iTunes and
other digital service providers in June, includes "Highway Star," the theme
song for TNT's NASCAR coverage as well as the super-sized video, which
intercuts NASCAR footage with the band's performance. BLACK BUTTERFLY was
released in September of last year and brought the band their first Top 10
album debut, landing at #8 on the Billboard Top 200 chart (the highest
debuting rock album of the week). It has also earned the titles of Album of
the Year by Entertainment Weekly and Best Rock Album by iTunes critics in
2008, has produced two multi-format rock hits and recently spurred the most
added track at active rock radio with the fourth single, "Talk To Me," off
of the acclaimed album.
LIVE & LOUD 2009 will feature the band's biggest hits like "Sorry" (#2 on
Billboard's Hot AC chart), "Crazy Bitch" (#3, Mainstream Rock), "Lit Up"
(#1, Mainstream Rock), "Ridin'" (#9, Mainstream Rock) and "Everything" (#5,
Active Rock). The new live album will also feature songs from the band's
current release Black Butterfly.
This fall, Buckcherry will tour with KISS on a trek being routed through
www.eventful.com/KISS. The site allowed
fans to vote at the website to "demand" what cities they want to see the
tour hit. More than 8,000 cities and towns were represented on the
fan-submitted list. Tour dates will be announced shortly and will be
available on www.Buckcherry.com.
