On this day in 1962 The Beatles Open For Little Richard in their hometown of Liverpool. They had yet to make it big.
On this day in 1963 Jimmy Gilmer And The Fireballs got their first and only number one with "Sugar Shack"
Jimmy Hendrix Played his first big time concert in front of over 14,000 fans in Paris in 1966.
On this day in 1968 Big Brother & The Holding Company Had the #1 Album On the charts called "Cheap Thrills".
On this day in 1979 Ian Anderson Of Jethro Tull Is pierced in the eye by a rose thrown onstage by a fan forcing the band to cancel several concerts.
In 1980 Disaster struck at a Blood Sweat & Tears Concert when seven people are stabbed in Los Angeles.
