On this day in 1966 Cream's drummer Ginger Baker collapsed after a twenty minute drum solo. He was taken to the hospital where he quickly recovered.
In 1976 EMI records offered The Sex Pistols a generous sign on bonus for signing with them.
On this day in 1977 "You Light Up My Life" hits #1 and stays for weeks.
On This day in 1979 "Tusk" by Fleetwood Mac Is released numerous weeks ahead of its original release date due to tracks from the album being leaked to the public.
On this day in 1980 Bob Marley collapses on stage He would die a year later from a Brain Tumor.
