The Reason WHY There is NO "This Day In Rock" on Weekends

By   Fri, Dec 19, 2008

It's a red letter day....tee hee Oh come on, I know puns are the lowest form of humor, but admit it...you laugh at them...

I am usually either in the shower or washing dishes when I get my ephiphanies.  This time, it was while doing dishes, which I hate, just for the record.  But I started thinking that you all have prbably noticed that "This Day In Rock" is only featured Monday-Friday.  BUT until now, I never had a good way to explain why, and I really didn't want to put the explinations for it in the column.

As I said in my other blog, I am the mother of 4 boys.  Well, I have 5 if you count my husband, and believe me there are times that he falls under the BOY category, but then, I've never known a man who doesn't at times.  My oldest son is 15, with 16 creeping up quickly come the end of Feburary, my middle two...yep twins, and no they are not identical, are 12 and my youngest will turn 9 on the 28th of this month.  These boys and their dad are my world.  And as they have their duties with school and work throughout the week, but are home during the weekends, my Saturdays and Sundays are devoted to them.  We are usually off somewhere doing something with them.

Of course, they are offically on Christmas break and don't go back until January 5th, so please keep me in your thoughts as I am going to try to hold onto my sanity.  Oh, wait...it's hard to hold onto something you don't possess. But, in spite of them being home, I will turn out the weekday editions of "This Day In Rock".  Never Fear!!!  Super Lis is here!!  Well, somthing like that...
